Tight end explains delayed announcement

No matter how long you cover recruiting, the entertainment of it is that there is always something new to see. Rivals.com's network has been working tirelessly to track down the commitment of Flower Mound, Texas tight end James Hanna. It had long ago become common knowledge that the 6-foot-5, 216-pound had committed, however tracking him down was another matter.

While one might be expected to be frustrated, it's hard to fault a player for taking care of his family.

Hanna came to Oklahoma's camp on Monday for a chance to work with Oklahoma quarterback commitment Landry Jones after picking up an offer from the Sooners earlier this month.
