New Offers For Jackson

It's been a relatively stress free summer for Kenji Jackson. The No. 33 ranked safety in the class of 2008, hasn't participated in any Division I camps yet, but that's about to change. Jackson, the 5-foot-10, 169-pound prospect from Mansfield (TX) High School spoke to Jayhawk Slant about his plans for the remainder of the summer and where his recruitment stands at this time.

The No. 86 ranked player in the state of Texas has quite a few offers at this time, including one from Mark Mangino and the Kansas Jayhawks. According to the three-star prospect, KU is still very much in the mix for his services.

Heading into the summer, Jackson had scholarship offers from Arizona, Colorado State, Iowa State, Kansas, New Mexico, Utah, Wisconsin, Rice, SMU and Tulsa. However, two Big 12 schools recently stepped up to the plate with scholarship offers.
