Big 12 Offer For Offensive Tackle

Being an offensive lineman isn't the most glamorous position on the gridiron filed, but it's clearly the most important. The Kansas coaching staff has offered double-digit scholarships to offensive lineman in the class of 2008, the newest being Trevor Marrongelli, the 6-foot-4, 285-pound offensive tackle from Westwood High School in Round Rock, Texas.

Marrongelli, a two-star prospect, was recently offered a scholarship by Mark Mangino and Kansas. While he isn't a familiar with the Jayhawks as he is with other programs, Marrongelli is currently in the process of doing some research on KU, which will allow him to become more familiar with the school and football program.
