Marshall nearing decision?

Mesquite, Texas is always loaded with talent and Baylor has been able to establish a connection in the city. Last season Baylor signed Mesquite High receiver Krys Buerck and in the 2008 class defensive end/tight end D.J. Marshall is high on the list of priorities.

Marshall, who transferred in from Lancaster this spring, has picked up offers from the Bears along with Iowa State and Minnesota with Texas A&M, LSU, UCLA, TCU and several others showing interest.

This spring and summer the 6-4, 230-pound prospect has been making his way from campus to campus and most recently returned from a visit to Texas A&M.
