Parish pulls the trigger
Wichita North defensive tackle Darius Parish has been on the rise since his name surfaced this summer. After picking up three offers, he decided recently that he wanted to get his commitment out of the way before the season started.
On Wednesday, Parish did just that. The 6-foot-3, 325-pound defensive lineman said he called Nebraska coach Ted Gilmore and gave him his commitment.
Parish also mentioned that he is trying to set up an official visit to Nebraska's home game against USC. He said other possible visits could be to Colorado State and Kansas, his two other scholarship offers to date.
