Brown down to five

Cedar Hill (Texas) cornerback Greg Brown has 15 scholarship offers, but he has already started to narrow that list some.

Brown, 5-foot-11, 165 pounds, 4.45 seconds in the 40-yard dash, recently attended the Seniors Camp at Arkansas and was billed by some camp observers as 'the best cornerback present.'

"I'm only looking at five schools at this time," Brown said. "I like Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Houston and probably Kansas State."

Brown is rated a three-star recruit by Rivals.com and is the No. 72 player in Texas and No. 34 cornerback in the nation. Brown is being recruited by Bobby Allen, who also coaches cornerbacks at Arkansas.

"The camp at Arkansas was good," Brown said. "They made a good impression on me. I like Coach Allen and the way he coaches. I like the environment at Arkansas."
