Plato still interested

Nicholas Plato missed last season after being involved in a horrific car accident late in the summer but after being granted a medical redshirt, Plato is back and ready for a big senior season. His recruitment is heating up, too.

Boston College, Illinois and Oklahoma State are out in front for Plato, a 6-foot-6, 228-pound tight end from Edwardsville (Ill.). He is still waiting to hear from Florida, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Texas A&M and Clemson.

"I'm more focused on our season and getting stuff done here," Plato said. "Clemson and Florida are the two schools I'm talking to most outside of my offers."
