Pegram: I Would Like To Be A Jayhawk

Logan Pegram was hoping to make a statement on Friday night. The 6-foot-3, 298-pound offensive guard from Silver Lake (KS) High School was scheduled to square off against Duane Zlatnik, the No. 3 ranked player in the state. However, the highly anticipated match up between the two friends never fully materialized, as Zlatnik suffered an injury early on in the contest. Pegram spoke to Jayhawk Slant about Friday's game and his visit plans for the upcoming weekend.

With several coaches on hand, including one from Kansas, Pegram knew that an impressive showing against Zlatnik, the 6-foot-4, 260-pound strongside defensive end from Rossville (KS) High School, would have a positive impact on his recruitment.

While Pegram, a two-star prospect, continues to receive a serious amount of interest from Colorado State, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State and Missouri, he has just one scholarship offer at this time, that coming from the Colorado State Rams.
