Long road to Auburn for top JUCO corner
It's been a long haul for Blair Irvin since graduating from Patterson (La.) High School in 2002.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder committed to LSU as one of the top athletes in the country that year, and was set on playing college football on the Bayou.
However, Irvin had a change in plans. Change of sports, actually.
Instead of suiting up in his shoulder pads and helmet, Irvin opted for spikes and a hat.
Instead of the Tigers, Irvin chose the Devil Rays.
