Temple prepares for game of the year
When people looked at the schedule before the season, one of the big games on everyone's mind was the Blue Springs South Jaguars against the Rockhurst Hawklets. Now that the calendar has turned to November, the match has become more than just a game. Temple said that the game between number 1 and number 2 in the state means everything for the season.
Temple said things wouldn't be easy this weekend for either team. When he looked at the Jaguars, he said that he saw a very good team that posed a challenge for the Hawklets.
In a game with the kind of magnitude the game is getting, especially when it was a battle of number 1 versus number 2 in the state, Temple said that any weaknesses in either team would be very limited. He said that he did think that there was a chance he would be able to make a difference both early and late in the game.
Temple said that a win would cap off a very positive week for him and for one of his best friends. He was excited to hear about a current teammate getting the chance to possibly be a future teammate as well.
Despite this weekend's game being one of the bigger games in recent memory, Temple had a lot of respect for the Jaguars and their talented QB, Blaine Dalton. He said that he was glad he would not have to face him in the future.
Temple said that this week's game will be one that hopefully people won't forget. He said that he hoped it was a good week for his current and future teams. He added that he hoped that the Tigers could overcome one of their biggest challenges of the season.
