Preview: KU vs. Louisiana-Monroe

Exhibition play is over meaning it's time for the real games to begin. No. 4 Kansas begins their march to San Antonio, Tex., Friday night as they take on the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks. Bill Self has one of the nation's more talented teams, even without Brandon Rush, who continues to rehab after an off-season knee injury. Instead, the Jayhawks will be led by the three-headed monster on the perimeter with guards Sherron Collins, Mario Chalmers, and senior Russell Robinson. The time for KU is now, and a senior-led team knows the pressure is on.

Normally, Lawrence, Kan., is geared up for the first basketball game of the season, the regular season that is.
