Herman makes official visit

Future Hawkeye Brad Herman was in Iowa City for his official visit this past weekend.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Herman's host on his official visit was starting outside linebacker A.J. Edds. While the Illinois native talked with the Iowa coaching about possibly joining Edds at linebacker next year, they might still like him at tight end as well.

Herman, who won a state championship at Metamora this year, also had the chance to talk with fellow Illinois native John Wienke, who is a Michigan commit but visited Iowa City while he waits to see who the next coach is going to be in Ann Arbor.

After making two trips to Iowa City in the fall before committing and now an official visit, Herman remains confident in his decision to play for the Hawkeyes.
