McGaffie glad he chose Mizzou
The first time Galena Park (TX) RB Gahn McGaffie visited Columbia, he decided to commit to the Tigers. The second time he was in town was for his official visit and McGaffie said that his second visit told him that he made the right choice the first time.
McGaffie came into town with his parents and he said that everyone had fun. While he was with the team, McGaffie talked with several of the other recruits who were in town.
While in town, McGaffie also talked with several current tigers, including his host, Kevin Rutland. The two knew eachother from home, but it was nice to have some time to get to know the other person a little better.
McGaffie admitted that it had gotten easier and easier to talk with the Missouri coaches over the past months. He said that he has enjoyed getting to know the coaches and both visiting them and having them visit him.
Like many of the recruits, McGaffie said one of the coolest things about the weekend was Saturday night during the Heisman presentation. He said that it was cool getting to see Missouri represented by people he had just met earlier in the day.
McGaffie said he wasn't done watching the Tigers in person this year, either. With the Tigers making their second trip to Texas on New Years, McGaffie said that he would try and make the trip to Dallas.
