Smith still undecided

South Oak Cliff (TX) DE Jacquies Smith was having such a great senior season he didn't want it to end. However, last weekend, he and his teammates were eliminated from the playoffs. Smith said that he wasn't going to think badly of the whole season just because of one game.

Since the end of his season, Smith has seen recruiting start to slowly pick up. He said that quite a few different schools have been talking to him, but that his best conversations have been with two specific schools.

Smith said that he has already had one school drop by his house, but added that in the near future, he expected to see at least one other school come by in the near future.

While working on getting things set up with the Tigers, Smith said he has enjoyed watching their success this year. He said that it was nice to see Missouri proving people wrong and added that he hoped to get the chance to watch Missouri in person during their bowl game.

Smith said that he sees recruiting coming into the home stretch as he prepares his visits. With one already planned and one he still wants to take, Smith said that he isn't quite done yet.

With the end of the season, and the Spartans making a push for him, did Smith see any chance in his recruiting order?

With his trip this weekend to Michigan State, but an eye on the Tigers, Smith said it wouldn't be easy making his choice. He said that he didn't see anything changing this weekend, though.
