Cooper exploring options

Perhaps still flying under the radar, one of North Louisiana's best receivers is starting to expand his options when it comes to his collegiate choices.

Calvary Baptist wideout Khiry Cooper is a three-star prospect according to the latest Rivals.com rankings. The 6-2, 175-pound Cooper is rated as the nation's 99th-best wide receiver in addition to being rated as the 12th-best overall prospect according to TigerBait.com.

Cooper says that the recruiting process is starting to really heat up as National Signing Day approaches.

"It seems like things have been heating up over the last couple of weeks," Cooper said.
