Gillespie set to see TCU

Jenks, Oklahoma defensive tackle Tony Gillespie is one of the top remaining prospects in all of the southwest. The 6-foot-1, 298 pounder has offers from schools around the nation including Florida, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, and TCU to name but a few.

Gillespie currently says Florida is his current leader and says he's waiting for a visit from the coaches.

"I'm leaning toward going to Florida," he said. "I'm going to visit with their coaches probably next week but I'm going to take my official visits still."

One visit Gillespie is scheduled to make is this weekend to TCU.

"I'm leaving for TCU tomorrow morning," he said. "They've been looking at me a lot ever since we had the state championship game. I grew up in Texas so it'll be good to go back. I still have a lot of family that still live there. I started the relationship with the head coach last summer when I went to one of their camps."

With Florida as his clear leader Gillespie says it may take until signing day to decide where he'll end up.

"I'm really waiting to talk to the Florida coaches. It might not be until signing day before I decide or maybe just a couple of days before because I want to take my visits."
