Ibiloye could have a big future
Leading up to the start of Oklahoma's 2008 recruits reporting this summer, SoonerScoop.com is taking an in-depth look at every player in Oklahoma's star studded class of 2008. Today, we forecast the future for new Sooner athlete Joseph Ibiloye.
|Athlete||Garland, Texas||Every year Oklahoma signs a few defensive players that are clearly of a high caliber but are also clearly without a true position. One of those players this year is Ibiloye who may be as naturally talented as any defender Oklahoma signed but will need some time to either learn proper coverage techniques of a safety or bulk up to play as a linebacker for Oklahoma. Either way Ibiloye is probably not destined to play as a freshman.||As time goes on however Ibiloye has a chance to be a really elite defender, he runs well, tackles well, and it's clear that he'll take to Oklahoma's coaching style after spending four years under Mickey Moss at South Garland. Ibiloye may be a hybrid in much the same vein that Nic Harris was before him, so it's seems likely that he could be the heir apparent at the now popular 'royback' position.|
