Weekend visitors highlight hot board

Missouri will bring in between 25 and 27 players in the Class of 2009 this February, by our calculations. The Tigers have 18 public commitments at this point, which means there should be between seven and nine available spots in the class. PowerMizzou.com runs down the situation with the most likely players to fill out the list on National Signing Day.

This list does not include Sheldon Richardson because he is currently part of the list of 18 verbal commitments. Richardson is still planning official visits to Miami and Arkansas, in addition to Mizzou, but until he publicly decommits, he will remain on the list of players already anticipated to sign.

As of now, the list consists of 17 prospects who appear to still be in play for the Tigers. However, there are likely a handful of names that will surface over the next month who are not on the list.

This is in no way reflective of the official recruiting board for the University of Missouri, but is simply our take after researching prospects and the Tigers' recruiting efforts throughout the year.
