Myles Crosby Talks About Future

TWITTER FACEBOOK

PonyPride sat down with 2013 commit Myles Crosby recently to talk about his recent visit to the Hilltop and his future as a Mustang. Crosby visited the SMU campus this past weekend and described what he thought about it.

"I went this weekend," Crosby said. "Loved it. It was so much fun. I got to meet the players, I got to tour the facilities, and I got closer with the other commits. Everything was beautiful. It looks more like a resort than a college campus. I was beyond happy with everything."

Recruited by Coach Wes Suan at SMU, Crosby played safety at Colleyville Heritage High School. He described he and Coach Suan's relationship as a being close, talking about once a week about what he should be working on before he gets up to SMU.

Crosby has been to see the Mustangs play a few times this season and he was impressed with what he saw.

"I went to the Houston and Memphis games. SMU forced nine turnovers in the Houston game, so of course that was entertaining. They beat Memphis, and then on Christmas Eve I watched them in their bowl game with my family. I saw them win again and it gets you more excited to go there."

Colleyville Heritage head coach Mike Fuller talked a little about what the recruiting process was like for Myles.

"He was getting a lot of interest in the spring," Fuller said. "There were a bunch of schools coming by. Anytime you have a DB at 6-foot-3, you're going to get some interest. The first team to come see him play a game in person his senior year was SMU. They offered him not long after that."
