It's been a bit of a break from things, but here's a quick look at the Top 5 or so Class of 2014 wide receivers in the State of Florida.

Now that spring football is over and summer camp season is in full swing, the analysts at FlaVarsity have taken the time to put together the top five Class of 2014 players - by position.

Top Five 2014 Wide Receivers

1. Ermon Lane
6-foot-2 |172 | Homestead (Homestead)

The Buzz: Lane has the speed, size and hands to make things happen wherever he is on the field. A very good downfield blocker, Lane is the prototypical Miami-Dade receiver - great hands, quick feet and strong for his size. He did well day two at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge - but not well enough to earn a fifth star - yet. Lane is the No. 2 receiver nationally, and ranked 32 in the Rivals100.

Schools in the mix: Alabama, Clemson, USC, Miami, Florida, Florida State (17 total)

2. Artavis Scott
5-foot-11 |180 | East Lake (Tarpon Springs)

The Buzz: Scott is another Floridian who made the trip to Chicago for the Rivals100 Five Star Challenge. With strong hands that rarely drop passes, Scott's pass-running routes and quickness earned him some praise from the Rivals.com team in Chicago. He's the No. 81 player in the Country - and ranked 11th in the nation at wide receiver.

Schools in the mix: Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Clemson, USF (26 total)

3. Ryeshene Bronson
6-foot-3| 182 | Dunbar (Fort Myers)

Buzz: A one-time verbal to Florida, Bronson brings height to the table and his leaping ability is one of his strengths. He goes up and gets the ball very well and isn't afraid to position his body to make the catch. With his recruiting opened back up, Bronson is one that will get a lot of 'looks' this summer and fall. He's ranked 125 in the Rivals250 and the 19th best receiver in the country.

Schools in the mix: Miami, USF, Auburn, South Carolina, Tennessee (11 total)

4. Johnnie Dixon
6-foot-0 | 175 | Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens)

The Buzz: Dixon is a third-year starter for the Panthers, and plays both offense and defense - with his forte being wide receiver. He plays hard to the ball and uses his speed to separate. He did fairly well against some of the competition at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge and will make quite an impact during the summer tours. He checks in at 135 in the Rivals250.

Schools in the mix: Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame (20 total)

5. Travis Rudolph
6-foot | 189 | Cardinal Newman (West Palm Beach)

The Buzz: What do all four of the previous wide receivers have in common with Rudolph? They all five went to Chicago and 'balled out' for the Rivals100 Five Star Challenge. Rudolph actually raised his game a bit and made quite the impression amongst the analysts. He's got the tools to be a slot receiver on the next level, with his speed and hands. He's got great footwork and his hips flow through the route.

Schools in the mix: Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Miami (26 total)

Others in the mix:

Moral Stephens - Taylor County (Perry, Fla.)

Corey Holmes - St. Thomas Aquinas (Ft. Lauderdale)
