Tuesday's Top Tigers makes its return to PowerMizzou.com. A player's ranking one week has no bearing on his placement on the list the next week. Here is our take on the Tigers who had the best performances in the 38-23 win over Toledo:

Tuesday's Top Tigers
RANK PLAYER THE ANALYSIS LAST WEEK
1 James Franklin, QB Franklin had 289 yards of total offense and looked as if he willed his team to victory when things got tight in the third quarter2
2 Marcus Murphy, TB With Missouri's running game mostly bottled up, Murphy came up big with 56 yards on eight carries, mostly in the second half. NR
3 Markus Golden, DE Golden didn't have a single tackle. But his 70-yard interception return for a TD was big...and he didn't deserve the penalty he got either. NR
4 L'Damian Washington, WR The senior captain made five catches for a team-high 78 yards, most of them to help the Tigers score on their first two possessions. NR
5 Dorial Green-Beckham, WR It wasn't a dominating performance, but five catches for 51 yards and a score helped the Tigers outscore Toledo. N6
6 Andrew Baggett, K He put just about every kickoff in the end zone and, more importantly after week one, made every place kick. NR
7 Ian Simon, S Simon had four tackles, including one for a loss, and iced the game with a fourth-quarter interception. NR
8 Randy Ponder, CB In the search for another corner, especially with Ernest Payton out, Ponder played well, particularly in the first half. He had two tackles and broke up two passes. NR
9 Donovan Bonner, LB The only starting linebacker to actually finish the game, Bonner had six tackles and helped keep things together on defense. NR
10 Henry Josey, TB He only had 27 yards on nine carries, but two of them did end up in the end zone. 1
11 Levi Copelin, WR Copelin had exactly one catch...but it was a nice sliding grab that went for 51 yards and set up a touchdown. NR
