Tuesday's Top Tigers makes its return to PowerMizzou.com. A player's ranking one week has no bearing on his placement on the list the next week. Here is our take on the Tigers who had the best performances in the 41-19 win over Arkansas State:

Tuesday's Top Tigers
RANK PLAYER THE ANALYSIS LAST WEEK
1 James Franklin, QB Franklin had 289 yards of total offense and once again played steady football to lead the Tigers to a win.1
2 Michael Sam, DE Sam had three sacks and a forced fumble, winning the SEC's defensive lineman of the week award in the process. NR
3 Dorial Green-Beckham, WR DGB only had four catches, but they went for 95 yards and two touchdowns. Each week, he's becoming a bigger weapon for the Tigers. 2
4 Russell Hansbrough, RB Hansbrough had 96 yards on just eight carries. It's becoming clear he is the Tigers' best tailback right now. 6
5 L'Damian Washington, WR Washington had six catches for 67 yards and a score. He is now second on the team in receiving yards and touchdowns. 9
6 The Offensive Line The highest compliment we can pay the line is that we haven't really noticed them so far. Honestly, they should probably be higher up the list. NR
7 E.J. Gaines, CB It wasn't Gaines' best performance, but he's got three interceptions on the season and added nine tackles. Gaines is playing at an all-SEC level. 5
8 Andrew Wilson, LB Wilson had a career-best 17 tackles and is clearly a steadying force for the Tiger defense. It wasn't the best night on that side of the ball, but Wilson was active. NR
9 Aarion Penton, CB Not flawless, but for a freshman forced into action when Randy Ponder was ejected, Penton performed admirably. The experience will help later in the season. NR
10 Shane Ray, DE Ray had six tackles and seemed to be in the backfield on a regular basis. Again, the argument can be made he should be higher. 1
11 Christian Brinser, P Brinser averaged 48 yards on four punts. On a night where there weren't a lot of stars, he rounds out the list. NR
