Tuesday's Top Tigers makes its return to PowerMizzou.com. A player's ranking one week has no bearing on his placement on the list the next week. Here is our take on the Tigers who had the best performances in the 31-3 win over Tennessee:

Tuesday's Top Tigers
RANK PLAYER THE ANALYSIS LAST WEEK
1 The offensive line Any time you run for 339 yards and put up more than 500 on offense, the guys up front are the reason. Justin Britt was named the league's OL of the week, but the entire unit deserves recognition.NR
2 Maty Mauk, QB Mauk only thre for 163 yards, but had three touchdowns and ran for 117 in leading the Tigers to an easy win. NR
3 Kony Ealy, DE The box score only had him with three tackles, but it seemed like more. He had 1.5 for a loss and a hurry that led to an interception. NR
4 E.J. Gaines, CB Gaines had his team-best fourth interception and a team-high six tackles and added another pass breakup as well. 2
5 Marcus Lucas, WR Lucas doesn't get the attention of the rest of the receiving corps, but he's having a heck of a season. He had 75 yards and a touchdown on four catches against the Vols. 8
6 Matt Hoch, DT Hoch had three tackles, a pass breakup and a half a sack. He also deserves a lot of credit for teams' inability to run on the Tigers. 6
7 Henry Josey, TB No one play jumped out, but after coming into game day as a question mark, Josey carried the load with 75 yards on a team-high 16 carries. 4
8 Andrew Wilson, LB Like Ealy, in watching the game live he seemed much more active than his six tackles and 0.5 TFL suggest he was. Solid night for the senior captain. NR
9 Markus Golden, DE Golden led the defensive line with four tackles, including two for a loss and a sack. NR
10 Ian Simon, S Simon redeemed himself somewhat for the fourth and 15 play against South Carolina with three tackles and two pass breakups (both of which he nearly picked off). NR
11 Shane Ray, DE Ray had two tackles, including one of Mizzou's seven behind the line of scrimmage, and was generally disruptive much of the night. NR
