Stymie Stokes

Few have completely stopped Tennessee's double-double machine. That includes Mizzou. Last time the two teams played, Stokes made six of his first seven shots and had 13 points with 17:45 left in the game...and then barely touched the ball. Tennessee has a huge advantage inside in this game and it starts with Stokes. He's probably the best offensive rebounder in the country. Mizzou has 25 fouls to throw at him with its five-man rotation up front. The Tigers might as well use them all.
Share the Ball

Missouri had 19 assists in an 85-66 win over Mississippi State. The Tigers followed up their most charitable effort of the season with a grand total of five dimes in a narrow win over Texas A&M. Missouri is in the bottom 20% of teams in the country in terms of assist. It's not their strength. But if Clarkson and Ross go one-on-one (or one-on-three) all day, Missouri has very little chance. Mizzou has to move the basketball and find good shots.
Capture the Momentum

Let's be real here: Missouri should have lost to Texas A&M. The tournament hopes should all be riding on winning the SEC Tournament in Atlanta. But they aren't. Mizzou got a reprieve against the Aggies. Can they take advantage of it and make the NCAA Tournament a realistic possibility headed into next week? If not, they're going to have to win at least three games in Atlanta.

Tennessee 80-68
