Mizzou gets second RB commitment

Missouri has landed its second running back commitment in the 2018 class in Briarcrest Christian (Tenn.) product Tyler Badie.

Committed to Memphis since late July, Badie announced his decision moments ago to flip his pledge from his hometown school to Missouri.

The two-star rated prospect picked up an offer from Missouri back on December 8th and took an official visit to Columbia back on January 20th.

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound prospect also had offers from Pitt, Southern Miss, and Tulane.

Badie was a first-team all-state selection and Mr. Football finalist during his senior season where he tallied 1,195 yards and 23 touchdowns rushing and was also a threat as a receiver out of the backfield and in the return game as well.

He becomes the 25th commitment in Missouri's class. The Tigers signed 20 of those during the early signing period in December. PowerMizzou.com will have much more from Badie later this morning.
