The Missouri Tigers hosted eight official visitors this weekend. The one who was drawing the most attention from the fans may have been a player that has been committed to the Tigers for a year-and-a-half.

Gateway Tech star Sheldon Richardson committed to Missouri before his junior year in high school. But as his profile has risen, Richardson has picked up offers from the likes of USC, Florida, Miami and more. He has repeatedly said over the last few months that he was "somewhat committed" to Mizzou. So where does he stand after the weekend?
"Well, just long story short, I'm done with my recruiting. Put that out there," said the nation's number four player. "Sheldon Richardson is done with recruiting. I want that to be the quote for the article."
The buzz around Richardson has been that he was solidly in the Tigers' camp all along, but this is the first time he has gone on the record as saying that since he had shot up the national rankings.
"No more visits, I'm done," he reaffirmed. "It's a big relief."
So what did the Tigers do to convince Richardson he was done looking around?
"It was home, that's all it was. I just had a lot of fun," he said. "Probably just kicking it with the other players was my favorite part. Those guys are a lot of fun to be around."
Richardson said he will play either tight end or defensive end for Missouri.
