2017 Target Board: Offense

As the Missouri staff enters the recruiting dead period PowerMizzou.com takes a look at the remaining targets in play for the Tigers.

Mizzou currently has 19 commitments and the general consensus is that the class will ultimately reach at least 25.

Expected to sign: 1

As long as Estes remains committed to Mizzou it doesn't appear that the Tiger coaches will attempt to land another quarterback. If Estes decommits Missouri will have to quickly ramp up the recruitment of a QB.

Running Back

Committed: 2

Remaining targets: 1

Expected to sign: 3

The Tiger coaches would be okay with signing just current commits Larry Rountree and Isaiah Miller. Despite that they are still working for more. Eno Benjamin, Anthony Daivs and Caleb Perry have all taken official visits to Columbia. Darrian Felix received an in-home visit from Greg Brown.

At this point Missouri is in the best shape with Perry. Benjamin picked up a late Texas offer and staying in state could be his move. Louisville gets the last visit for Davis and the Cardinals have always been considered one of the favorites to land the four-star prospect. Felix has visited Oregon, Tennessee and North Carolina. Mizzou is working on setting up an official, but until they do the Tigers chances of landing the Florida prospect are very low.

Wide Reciever

Committed: 3

Remaining targets: 1

Expected to sign: 3

With three wide receiver commits the Tigers would normally be done recruiting the position. But with Rivals100 playmaker Jeff Thomas still available the Mizzou coaches have continued to recruit. Thomas has taken an official visit to Illinois already. He is expected to take on to Missouri as well, but nothing is set up currently.

Tight End

Committed: 1

Remaining targets: 0

Expected to sign: 1

Missouri got an early commitment from Christopherson and decided to stop at the one addition.

Offensive Line

Committed: 5

Remaining targets: 1

Expected to sign: 6

Missouri is in very good shape in regards to offensive line recruiting with five prospects committed. Despite that it sounds like the Tiger coaches would like to add one more prospect to the fold. A junior college prospect is a strong possibility, but at this time no names are clearly standing out.
