mexicojoe asks:  who would you select with the Cheeeeefs first pick? or would you trade down? or trade up?

GD: I don't know. I don't study the draft enough to know who's going tyo be there at the 32nd pick. I'd probably like to see a linebacker or maybe a corner there. I'd love it if Patrick Queen from LSU fell. If not, I'll trust the guys who just built a Super Bowl champ to make the right move. I'd be fine with trading down. Don't trade up. You've only got five picks. At some point the bill on all this is going to come due and you're going to have to have some cheap talent to put around Patrick Mahomes. You do that by finding good players in the later rounds, not by having three picks total.

MizzouFan314 asks: I'm not a huge fan of the NFL but the draft has me intrigued this year. Mostly because it's the only sports action we've gotten in over a month and a half besides replays. My question is due to the fact that NFL teams haven't had the chance to conduct their full analyses of players, will we see more players from programs like Mizzou get drafted that have more film as say a kid from Valdosta State? I feel like NFL teams will go for more of the "safe" pick this year or guys from Power 5 programs rather than the boom or bust type of player. How many Mizzou guys do you see getting drafted?

GD: I've definitely seen some talk that the guys this will hurt are small school guys who usually stand out at pro days or pop up on the radar late. So I think it's possible. But also, these NFL guys get paid to know who the guys from Valdosta State are. It's why fans and media that cover big schools often overestimate the number of players from that school. We don't know about the guy from Valdosta State. The NFL does.

amhorrell asks: I can’t speak to the truth of either but I feel like these times are similar to a combination of growing up in the 30’s and being retired in today’s world if you don’t like golfthe only exception is we have technologynot much communication, not much in the form of entertainment.. you just sit in your house and wait for the next daynow... engulf me with reasons why I’m wrong

GD: I didn't grow up in the 30s so I can't really speak to that. The only person I know who is alive now and was alive in the 30s is my mother-in-law and I believe she was four when that decade ended so she probably can't tell me a lot about it either (and is unlikely to have a PowerMizzou subscription anyway). My dad is retired and doesn't play golf anymore so maybe he can tell you what that's like. I'm not real sure I'm qualified to answer your question...or really even what your question was.

TrueSon1994 asks: Do you think the lack of practices will hurt Mizzou Football for next year tremendously or do you think everyone is at the same disadvantage?
