Every week, PowerMizzou.com publisher Gabe DeArmond answers questions from Tiger fans in the mailbag. This format allows for a more expansive answer than a message board post. Mizzouguy84 asks: If Mizzou were to land Wingo, what in state kids do you think Mizzou would go after to flip and who could you see actually considering it?
EvilleMizzou asks: what guys do you see Mizzou circling back on after getting momentum off the WN win?
GD: Getting Wingo would obviously help. But with the new law about to take effect, I'm not sure anyone is completely off the table. I'd be willing to bet Missouri is reaching out to pretty much every in-state kid it wants and asking if he wants to reconsider with the new rules. That said, here are the three I'd think they'll most likely take a shot with.
Madison Valley asks: Has Mizzou ever had 2 five stars in same class?
GD: Not yet.
Mizzou All Day asks: The only known question marks on Defense is the Defensive Ends. Do you have any insight on the DE depth or heard anything from Coach Peoples?
GD: Darius Robinson is going to play out there some. Eli Drinkwitz has indicated that will probably be kind of matchup dependent or situational. Right now, I'd think the starters are probably Johnny Walker and Joe Moore with Robinson as the situational guy. Beyond that, I think Nyles Gaddy will play and Jahkai Lang and D.J. Wesolak will probably be in the rotation in some form.
Ted E Letters asks: Have you heard any rumors the the Williams commit may bring some other high level recruits along? I thought I remembered reading a quote from him saying he would bring others if he committed. Maybe I’m just making that up though, wishful thinking.
