Aldine High School's Tavon Bolden has always wanted to play in the Big 12 and he got his wish.

The 6-foot-2 athlete held offers from Boston College and Western Michigan, but was waiting on an offer from a more local program.
The Missouri Tigers had him up on a visit last weekend and it was just what the doctor ordered.
"When the Big 12 comes for you, you have to take it, were his thoughts," Aldine interim coach Tim McFadden said. "Missouri is so professional when it comes to recruiting and they did a great job winning him over. They came in late, but Tavon wants the opportunity to play in the Big 12."
Bolden played safety at Aldine, but could be projected all over the field.
"What he can do is run," McFadden said. "They are signing him as an athlete, but project him as an outside linebacker. He's so fluid that he could play offense as well. What they see is his frame and his ability to hold weight and still being able to run. He's going to excel at Missouri."
