Crawford still weighing his options

For a long time it seemed the Purdue Boilermakers were the leader for Giddings, Texas running back Dominique Crawford. But things have taken a turn of late.
"At Purdue, the guy that was recruiting me took a job on the Texas A&M coaching staff," Crawford said. "So now, I am on their list as well."

In addition to the Aggies, Crawford continues to hear from Baylor, Missouri, Sam Houston State and Texas State.
"I'm trying to get everybody in there, trying to make all my official visits, get to all the schools and all that," Crawford said. "I am getting that all ironed out this week. Every week, I'm pretty much going to be lined up to visit somebody."
Crawford said he will definitely visit Texas State and Texas A&M.
"I want to get to Baylor and to Missouri as well," Crawford said of two schools he has already visited unofficially.
Texas State offered last week and may have taken the lead.
"Texas State came by last night as a matter of fact," said the two-star back. "Their coach came by and chatted with my parents, talked about the school and the program. He said he'd give me a call back. I thought about committing to them, but I am going to wait about a week or so and see all my options."
Offers from the Tigers or the Bears could shake things up, but time is running out for Crawford.
