"I'm going to Mizzou," Denmon told PowerMizzou.com. "I talked to the coaches this morning."
There has been tons of speculation about an impending commitment from Denmon for the last week. In fact, the shooting guard from Kansas City actually had pulled the trigger about a week ago. But the details were not finalized until Monday morning.
"I talked to coach Zimmerman," Denmon said. "Then I talked to coach Anderson and he said that he wanted me to be a Missouri Tiger."
Denmon has been one of the fastest rising names in the Midwest over the last few months. He scored better than 30 points a game at Hogan Prep this winter and had a great summer with KC Pump-N-Run. Now, he is ready to continue that rise in Columbia.
"I'm really happy," Denmon said. "I'm just trying to get this over with and focus on my schoolwork, focus on my academics."
Denmon said he plans to sign with the Tigers in November.
"I'm finished," Denmon said. "This is final."
He becomes Missouri's third known commitment for the class of 2008.
