The long recruitment of Springfield (MO) receiver Dorial Green-Beckham comes to an end at 9:15 AM Wednesday. Even as a freshman at Hillcrest, five-stars in front of his name seemed like a certainty. Now, PowerMizzou.com attempts to document the key recruiting moments over the last four years for Green-Beckham.

JUNE 2008: During the summer before his freshman year at Hillcrest, Dorial Green picks up his first verbal offer. It comes from Missouri, after Green worked out at the Tigers' recruiting camp in Springfield. It's the first time Gary Pinkel has ever offered a player before his freshman year. Green recently turned 15 years old that April.

AUGUST 29, 2008: Green plays in his first high school football game. Three minutes, 18 seconds into the first quarter, he catches a 66-yard touchdown pass. He finishes the day with four catches for 110 yards and two touchdowns, as Hillcrest beats West Plains 49-33.

OCTOBER 30, 2008: Hillcrest loses its last game of the season, falling to Willard, 23-20. Green catches seven passes for 127 yards and a touchdown. He finishes the year with 37 catches, 801 yards and 13 touchdowns. The Hornets, however, go 2-8.

FEBRUARY 2, 2009: Green starts on Hillcrest's basketball team as a true freshman, and helps lead the Hornets to an 18-4 record. Hillcrest loses in the District 12 finals to Springfield Central, 63-60.

JUNE 2, 2009: Green once again attends Missouri's recruiting camp. This time, he's a celebrity, and easily stands out from the over 100 recruits in attendance. The first article on Green is written by Rivals.com.

NOVEMBER 11, 2009: Hillcrest is shut-out by Bolivar 28-0, but the Hornets finish the season at 7-5. It is John Beckham's second year as head coach for a perennial sub- .500 team. Dorial Green catches 66 passes for 1,616 yards and 23 touchdowns.

DECEMBER 2009: Dorial Green, and younger brother Darnell, are legally adopted by the Beckhams. Sometime in the next year, both add "Beckham" to their last name.

MARCH 13, 2010: Green-Beckham scores 10 points over the final four minutes of the Missouri Class 5 boys state basketball championship game, helping the Hornets overcome a double-digit deficit to beat Oakville 54-49 for the state title. Green-Beckham finishes with 21 points, and Hillcrest finishes the season 25-7.

MARCH 27, 2010: Green-Beckham unofficially visits Oklahoma for the first time. It's his first known unofficial visit to any school's campus, although the basketball championships were played in Columbia. Green-Beckham, who had been living with head coach John Beckham's family since eighth grade, still calls him "Coach". Oklahoma has already verbally offered the sophomore.

NOVEMBER 8, 2010: Hillcrest loses to Union 35-7, finishing at 7-5 for a second-straight year. Green-Beckham is triple and quadruple covered nearly every game, but finishes with 78 catches for 1,703 yards and 15 touchdowns. He now has verbal offers from nearly every major program in the nation, numbering well over 30.

JANUARY 31, 2011: Green-Beckham is named the Junior of the Year by Rivals.com.

MARCH 2011: Green-Beckham is named one of the first five-stars for 2012 by Rivals.com. Soon thereafter, he visits Alabama for an unofficial visit. Dorial plays pool with Julio Jones just weeks before Jones is drafted in the first-round by the Atlanta Falcons.

JUNE 2011: Green-Beckham unofficially visits Missouri and Oklahoma to start the month.

OCTOBER 17, 2011: Hillcrest host the Army All-American ceremony, where Green Beckham is presented with a jersey. Becoming an Army All-American was a goal since his freshman year.

OCTOBER 27, 2011: Green-Beckham already owns every state career receiving record. In Hillcrest's regular season finale, he breaks the national career receiving record on an 81-yard touchdown catch-and-run. Green-Beckham finishes his career with 6,353 receiving yards.

NOVEMBER 12, 2011: Hillcrest loses in the quarterfinals of the state playoffs to eventual state champion Webb City. Green-Beckham finishes his senior year with 119 receptions for 2,233 yards and 24 touchdowns.

NOVEMBER 19, 2011: After unofficially visiting Texas during the summer, Green-Beckham officially visits Austin for the Longhorns' home finale against Kansas State. It is his first official visit.

DECEMBER 12, 2011: Green-Beckham, along with Stefon Diggs and Darius Hamilton visit New York City as the three finalists for the U.S. Army Player of the Year award. In January, Green-Beckham wins the award.

JANUARY 7, 2012: Green-Beckham wins co-MVP honors at the Army All-American game after a two-catch, one touchdown day. The one score came in spectacular fashion on a one-handed grab that resulted in a 79-yard catch-and-run. He shares the honors with Cyler Miles, who threw said pass.

JANUARY 18, 2012: With a final five of Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Alabama and Texas, those coaching staffs were common sights at Hillcrest over the past two months. However, on this day, Gary Pinkel uses his one in-home visit, and arrives at Hillcrest in a helicopter.

JANUARY 21, 2012: Green-Beckham uses his second official visit to travel to Arkansas. The Razorbacks have long been rumored to be Green-Beckham's leader. After the visit, Arkansas' current commitments tell Rivals.com they expect Green-Beckham to pick the Razorbacks.

JANUARY 25, 2012: Dennis Dodd of CBSSports.com reports that, because of contact between Bobby Petrino and Green-Beckham in San Antonio, the Razorbacks' coach won't use his in-home visit with Green-Beckham later that week. Instead, Arkansas sends a contingent of assistant coaches for the visit.

JANUARY 26, 2012: Green-Beckham begins his third and final official visit, travelling to Columbia for the weekend. A gaggle of Missouri fans and students await his arrival with banners and signs. At the basketball game the next day, fans chant "MIZ-DGB."

JANUARY 30, 2012: A report by the Tulsa World says Green-Beckham will sign with Missouri over Arkansas and Texas, citing anonymous sources. John Beckham denies that a decision has been made.

FEBRUARY 1, 2012: At 9:15 AM, Green-Beckham will announce his college decision on national TV. Rumors abound that it will be either the Razorbacks or the Missouri Tigers.
