Florida OL picks Mizzou

A week ago, Tampa (Fla.) Sickles offensive lineman Zach Hudson took his first visit to Missouri.
On Tuesday, the 6-foot-5, 280-pound lineman canceled all his upcoming visits and committed to the Tigers. According to his high school coach Brian Turner, those actions showed how much Missouri impressed him.

"I think he made up his mind after that visit," Turner said. "He had other visits scheduled, but he really liked Missouri.
"He went to (visit) Texas, and had visits planned to Wake Forest, Arizona, some others. He decided not to take them. Him and his parents really liked (Missouri). They instantly liked it."
Turner credited Hudson's recruiting coach, Brian Jones, as a big reason for the quick commitment.
"He and his family bonded with the coach," Turner said.
At this point, Missouri isn't narrowing down Hudson's position of the future. Turner said they've mentioned that Hudson will start at tackle, but they could also see him playing guard.
"For a big guy, he's very athletic," Turner said. "He's got long arms and quick hands. He gets his hands on you quick. He's a physical blocker, but I think his best attribute is that he's very athletic for a guy his size."
Hudson was under-the-radar prior to his commitment to Missouri. According to Turner, that was Hudson's choice.
"He's never been a big "star" guy," Turner said. "He's always wanted to be committed to his teammates, and he said that if the offers come, then that's great. But he didn't go out to camps and focus on himself. He focused on his team."
Hudson is Missouri's 12th commitment in the 2014 class and the fourth offensive line to verbally pledge to the Tigers.
