Left tackle Justin Britt was the lone offensive honoree for the Tigers on the first-team. Defensively, starting ends Kony Ealy and Michael Sam made the team. Sam was a unanimous selection, one of just three in the conference, and was also named the league's Defensive Player of the Year after leading the SEC with 10.5 sacks and 18 tackles for a loss. Cornerback E.J. Gaines rounded out Missouri's first-team quartet.
Andrew Wilson, who led the Tigers with 98 tackles including six for a loss, and Dorial Green-Beckham, who had 55 receptions for 830 yards and 12 touchdowns, were honored as second-team all-SEC. Defensive end Markus Golden received honorable mention recognition.
Missouri finished the regular season 11-and-1 before losing the SEC Championship Game to Auburn on Saturday evening. The Tigers were ranked 8th in the final BCS Standings and are slated to face 13th-ranked Oklahoma State in the AT&T Cotton Bowl on January 3rd, 2014.
