Frederick adds weight and offers

At the end of his junior year of high school football, Langston Frederick knew if he wanted to add weight he’d have to make multiple changes to his diet.

Despite playing at 160 pounds last year, the 5-foot-10 cornerback was able to attract multiple Division One schools and figured getting his weight up would only lead to more interest.

Frederick’s toughest diet adjustment proved to be his most beneficial.

He gave up McDonald’s.

Rated a three-star defensive back by Rivals.com, Frederick’s is now at 180 pounds with plans to add another five before his high school season starts.

Colleges have noticed Frederick’s newfound commitment to his body with the League City, Texas native listing Missouri, Iowa State, Minnesota and Indiana as the schools showing the most interest in him.

Frederick plans to visit Missouri sometime this summer once the current recruiting dead period comes to an end.
