GAINESVILLE, FL--After each game this year, PowerMizzou.com will recognize the standout performers by handing out our game balls. Here is our list from the 14-7 loss to Florida.
Sheldon Richardson: Six tackles, 1.5 for a loss, a forced fumble, a blocked kick and general havoc wreaked on the Gator offense all day. Again.
Kony Ealy: Ealy officially got just one tackle, but it was behind the line of scrimmage and he batted down three passes. A nice compliment on the edge to Richardson's dominance in the middle.
Matt Hoch: Speaking of the middle, Hoch may have made more plays in this game than in the rest combined. He had four tackles and two pass breakups, in addition to significant pressure on the quarterback.
Kip Edwards: Edwards had four tackles and continues to raise his level of play throughout the season.
E.J. Gaines: Gaines got five tackles, a fumble recovery that set up Missouri's only touchdown and had two quarterback hurries as well.
Dorial Green-Beckham: The lone offensive player on the list, DGB led the Tigers with six catches for 73 in what was easily his most complete college game so far.
Trey Barrow: Barrow averaged 41.1 yards on seven punts and three times pinned the Gator offense inside the 20-yard line.
Marcus Murphy: Murphy carried the ball four times for 32 yards, caught three passes for 20 and gave the offense a chance with two late punt returns for 22 yards. But ultimately, that offense needed him to take it all the way.
