Geist commits on visit

Missouri has been looking to add another guard to its 2016 recruiting class and on the first day of an official visit, the Tigers got their man. Ranger College combo guard Jordan Geist gave his pledge to the Mizzou staff on Friday.

Geist averaged 15 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists for Ranger College this year as a freshman. He was named a second-team junior college all-American for former Kentucky and Texas A&M coach Billy Gillispie. Geist will have three years to play for the Tigers.

PowerMizzou.com has reached out to Gillispie and will speak with Geist after his official visit concludes this weekend.
