Interest picking up for Ryan Rosburg

At 6-foot-10, 240 pounds, it is hard not to notice Ryan Rosburg. But Rosburg says there's more to his game than just size.
"I'd say I'm pretty strong in the post, but I also like to get out in transition and get easy dunks and lay-ups," said the St. Louis senior-to-be.

Now, college coaches are starting to take notice. Rosburg lists offers from Missouri State, Southern Illinois, and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville. However, the Marquette High (MO) product says more offers could come soon.
"Supposedly a Tennessee offer is on its way now that coach [Cuonzo] Martin and the new staff is there," Rosburg said. "I've been hearing from Mizzou a lot lately too."
Rosburg says Missouri's interest has picked up since coach Frank Haith took over, although he admits he is unfamiliar with the Tigers.
"I don't know a lot about Mizzou to be honest," Rosburg said. "I haven't even heard from them personally, but through my coaches and other people I've heard they have interest in me."
Rosburg, who was very active in his team's press at the Jayhawk Invitational, says he likes to play up-tempo and fast-paced. But don't expect his recruitment to go that way.
"I'm open right now," he said. "I'm not ready to narrow it down or anything. I want to get a look at different schools. Facilities and a school's reputation are important to me."
Rosburg says this summer he'll be working to become better and more aggressive on defense. If he does that, look for college coaches to continue to become more aggressive recruiting him.
