After much persuasion from Michael Porter Jr., Kevin Knox II finally gave in to his fellow blue-chip recruit and used his final official visit on Missouri this past weekend.

The no. 9 ranked player in the 2017 Rivals150 came to Columbia straight from Portland, Oregon where he and Porter played together in the Nike Hoops Summit.

Blake Harris, a one-time Washington commit joined the duo on the visit. Harris committed to Missouri on Sunday.

Don Dziagwa, Knox’s high school coach at Tampa Catholic, said his star player told him that he enjoyed the visit and that Missouri worked itself into the mix over the weekend despite being late to his recruitment.

“I think Missouri is certainly in the mix when he and his family sit down and start going over schools and things like that,” Dziagwa told PowerMizzou.com. “I think Missouri is going to be just as much in the mix as Duke or North Carolina or Kentucky or any other schools.”

Missouri got involved with Knox over the past month after Porter Jr. switched his commitment from Washington to Missouri and started to get in Knox’s ear.

Dziagwa applauded Porter Jr.’s recruiting efforts, saying without him the Tigers would have had a very hard time getting in the conversation for Knox.
