Mark receives Missouri offer

Missouri's coaching staff is making a big push to gain the commitments of at least three defensive tackles in the 2012 class, and it seems that once one comes off the board, another offer goes out.
That was the case this past week. A few days before Novi (MI) defensive tackle Matthew Godin committed to Michigan, Missouri extended an offer to Lufkin (TX) defensive lineman Tomme Mark. Mark has been on Missouri's radar for the last few months, and his recruitment picked up in February.

Mark had been expecting an offer for a while, and said he wasn't sure the reasons for the delay.
"They really didn't say anything," Mark said. "Coach (Dave) Steckel told me around Christmas they would offer but I didn't know for sure until they told me they were offering on Monday or Tuesday."
Currently, Mark has offers from Houston, Utah and SMU, in addition to Missouri. His profile also claims an Arkansas offer, but Mark did not mention the Razorbacks during the interview.
"As of now, Missouri, SMU and Houston are my top three," Mark said, adding that it was in no particular order.
Mark has unofficially visited SMU, and said he hopes to visit Missouri this summer, althought the visit is not scheduled at this point.
In February, Mark said he wanted to take his time before making a decision. However, now he said that it isn't a sure bet.
"I don't even know when I'll decide," Mark said.
