The 2019 prospect visited Mizzou this past summer for a camp in July, which allowed him to get a better feel for the program and their coaching staff.
"I was impressed with the coaching staff and the campus. I know they are struggling now, but it is a very impressive university. "
"They (coaches) were very positive. I am only 16 and they said they were impressed with my style of play. They would like me to play outside linebacker due to my height and length."
So far during his junior campaign the talented edge rusher has collected 31 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, and six sacks.
Williams, currently listed at 6-foot-4, 220-pounds, went in-depth about his overall skills and abilities that has a lot of college coaches taking notice.
"I think my strongest asset is my speed and my football IQ. As an edge rushing I have be able to find the football and get to the ball fast."
"I think I have improved tremendously in my ability to get off the ball faster. My first step has really gotten better. I have improved in taking on and getting off blocks. I have some great coaches that are helping me get better everyday."
