Mizzou it is for Swinson

Missouri made it official today, announcing the addition of Lutheran (N.Y.) three-star tight end Messiah Swinson to the Tigers' 2018 recruiting class. Swinson signed his national letter of intent on Friday.

Swinson received an offer from the Tigers back in July and took his official visit to Columbia in early November. The New York product also took official visits to Arizona State in September and one to Nebraska this past weekend after the Cornhuskers extended a late offer.

Swinson is a three-star rated prospect that is expected to fill the role of a big target, playmaking tight end in the Tigers' high-powered offense. The 6-foot-7, 241-pound prospect is the nation's 44th ranked tight end.

Missouri signed 16 players on Wednesday and added JUCO defensive tackle Antar Thompson on Thursday and 3-star defensive back Chris Mills was announced as part of the class earlier on Saturday.
