Missouri wide receiver Mookie Cooper announced on Sunday that he will be returning to the team in 2024.

Cooper, who has one year of eligibility left, had a career year in his first season as a starter. He recorded 34 receptions for 429 yards in 12 games (10 starts).

Since he transferred from Ohio State in 2021, he’s recorded 77 receptions for 921 yards and a touchdown.

The Tigers just signed offensive coordinator Kirby Moore to an extension and will at least have quarterback Brady Cook, AP All-American second-team wide receiver Luther Burden III and three starting offensive linemen coming back in 2024.

Cooper is the third senior to publicly declare he is returning, joining safety Joseph Charleston and linebacker Chuck Hicks. Defensive tackle Kristian Williams is also expected to return as PowerMizzou.com has previously reported.

Missouri is in Dallas where the Tigers will face Ohio State in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl on Friday.
