Pierson represents Mizzou in Rivals250
The first edition of the Rivals250 is out for the Class of 2011 and Missouri's first four-star recruit is in the books.
Gateway Tech athlete Anthony Pierson checks in at No. 166 on the list and is a four-star prospect. The multi-talented Pierson has run for more than 4,500 yards in his career at Gateway Tech, but has told PowerMizzou.com he intends to be a cornerback at Missouri.
Pierson is the Tiger commit on the initial list. He joins Darrian Miller (No. 77) and Dan Tapko (178) as the only players from the state of Missouri in the ranking. But there are plenty of other Tiger targets listed among the nation's elite. Christian French (No. 84), Rodney Coe (162), Dylan Dismuke (191) and Rob Hankins (209) have all expressed interest in Missouri.
