Justin Safford signed a letter of intent with Missouri last week, so this weekend's official visit was simply a formality. But still, Safford was happy with what he saw.

"Actually, I just got back home," he said when reached by PowerMizzou.com. "Man, I loved it. Everything about it, from the team, to the arena and the campus, it was just great. I had a real good time."
Safford was accompanied on the visit by his mother and grandparents.
"It was more than we thought it was going to be," Safford said. "My grandparents came down, and my mother. The coaches, the team, everybody was real welcoming. They showed us a great time."
Safford said he got to know DeMarre Carroll, Stefhon Hannah, Keon Lawrence and Michael Anderson, Jr., during the trip. He also had a chance to play some ball with the current Tiger.
"We ran for about two hours, played some good pickup games. I got to see what I had coming," Safford said. "It was not too bad. The only thing I know I need to work on is just strength. Other than that, everything else went pretty well."
Safford is currently the only member of Missouri's 2008 class.
