The Starters: Adam Crossett starts out as the punter and kickoff man. Jeff Wolfert handles the placekicking. No room for debate here. As far as return men, if they can catch a kick, they'll get a look during spring.
The Backups: Jake Harry comes in from junior college, and make no mistake, the punter spot is open for competition. He could provide Crossett one heck of a challenge, as Wolfert did a year ago. Crossett is probably the backup place kicker.
The Spring Prediction: Wolfert is as secure as a starter as anyone not named Chase Daniel on this team. But punter will be interesting. Our guess is that Missouri emerges from spring still not sure who the punter will be.
Things Could Change If: Well, in the kicking game, they really can't. But in the return game, everything is up for grabs. Tommy Saunders, Derrick Washington, Carl Gettis, Marcus Woods, Greg Bracey. That is just the beginning of the list of players who will get a shot at returns in the fall.
