Tigers set to sign three

The early signing period for college basketball opens today and Mike Anderson will get a fast start on a class that should be his most highly-regarded in four years at Mizzou.
Kadeem Green and Phil Pressey are both out of school on Wednesday, but are expected to sign and fax their letters of intent to the Tiger coaches. PowerMizzou.com will be in touch with both during the day. Pressey actually was part of a ceremony at the Episcopal School of Dallas in which the school's Division One bound athletes signed mock letter on Tuesday.

Rock Bridge senior Ricky Kreklow will sign in a ceremony at 3:15 p.m. at his school on Thursday afternoon. PowerMizzou.com will be at the ceremony to provide coverage and will have an interview with Kreklow after he signs.
In the latest team recruiting rankings, the Tigers were not in the nation's top 20. However, that was before the commitment of Green. Missouri's ranking could also receive an enormous boost at some point soon. Tony Mitchell, the nation's No. 15 player and a five-star forward, has Missouri on his short list of schools. A Mitchell commitment would almost certainly put Mizzou among the nation's top 20 teams.
Throughout the week, as we receive word from either the prospects or Missouri, PowerMizzou.com will keep you updated on the confirmed signings for the 2010 class. We will also follow Anderson's recruiting efforts throughout the year. If you are not yet a member, just try out our free seven-day trial.
