Morrison, a 6-foot-7 forward, is the third ranked junior college player in the country, according to JucoJunction.com. He visited Columbia officially on September 21st and made a verbal commitment to the Tigers six days later, after cancelling a scheduled visit to Washington. Thus far this season, he has led Redlands to a 3-and-0 start with an average margin of victory of 31 points.
PowerMizzou.com has set up an interview with Morrison for later on Wednesday night and will talk to him about making things official.
The Tigers are also anticipating a signed letter from New Jersey guard Keon Lawrence before the end of the early signing period. Tyrone Appleton, a point guard at Cincinnati's Harmony Prep, will likely decide between the Tigers, Virginia Tech and Washington at some point in the next week.
