On Friday night, Chad Bailey had plans to wait until September to announce his college commitment. By Sunday morning, he'd changed his mind. He committed to Missouri before heading home to Missouri City, TX.

"I was going to wait but, I mean, I feel like if you know where you want to go you might as well commit," the four-star linebacker said. "There was no reason to wait. I was the best fit there, I liked all the coaches, I’m pretty cool with the players. And they're rebuilding Mizzou. They're getting a new stadium, new locker rooms, it's going to be really nice."

Bailey was the fourth of a weekend avalanche of five commitments for the Tigers. The spree doubled the size of the current 2018 commitment list and moved Mizzou up 25 spots in the Rivals.com team recruiting rankings.
